Hope... is really a feeling?
This is traditionally the advent season typically meaning the "coming" of Jesus Christ or the coming Yeshua HaMashiach. We are all expecting something for Christmas in the familiar form of a unique gift. Did we conveniently forget the real "gift" the Son of God came in the rare form of an innocent baby to die later for our wrenched sins? We must never forget the real HOPE is precisely a confident expectation to be ready for the "second coming" of Jesus. This magnificent event is closer than anyone can imagine. He is coming back, and we should be full of anxious hope and overwhelming joy in our rebellious hearts. Let's focus on the "glowing light" of the menorah and the light in our hearts as our Jewish Brothers and Sisters celebrate and remember the meaning of Chanukah. HOPE and LIGHT!
