I gave armament coverage about the armor of God over the last several weeks. We need a daily prayer life that includes putting on the full armor by praying for each piece to cover our bodies. For example, say in prayer, I put on the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the girdle of truth, the sandals of peace, and I pick up the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit.
Ephesians 6:3 says, “Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may withstand in the evil day and have done all, to stand.”(NIV)
What great coverage when you know Jesus gives us armor to keep us from the devil’s schemes. People forget to arm themselves for daily attacks, and when we fail, we have discord, then bitterness.
