Every day we dress, and we get ready to go into the world for work. Have you ever considered that you might not be fully dressed for your day? Scripture says be dressed with the armor of God. What is that armor? I will start a series over the next seven weeks discussing the armor of God to fight and how to dress for Spiritual Warfare.
Let's start with the Scripture. Ephesians 6:13-17, “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
Ephesians 6:12 indicates a conflict between Satan and man, and we must be ready to follow the instructions given in the verse to withstand the deceptive tactics of Satan and his minions. Remember, Satan is the father of lies.
