My husband and I were walking this week along the river and relished in nature’s finest beauty. We looked at the trees and noticed they had not turned to the vibrant fall colors since it had been unseasonably warm. It is almost mid-October, and normally by now, the leaves in Southern Michigan have changed color because, by Halloween, the leaves are falling from the trees. But, not this year, everything is late, and our weather changes around the world. Something is happening in the spiritual world, and as Christians, we must be astute and wake up and lead others to Jesus Christ. Jesus, our Savior, is coming soon, and nature is screaming out loud to let us know things are not the same as in past years. Various plagues, hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, dormant volcanos are coming alive, wars, divisions among nations and people in families, and divides in countries.
Matthew 24:6 states, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
So, as people who might have an affiliation with Jesus, let us get to work and bring more folks into the fold. And, of course, keep the world in prayer, for we know not the day or hour when Jesus will return.
