Mold and Mend Me
What exactly does it mean to mold and mend a person?
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed” (Psalm 34:18).
He tells us in Isaiah 41:10 that He will never forsake those suffering, “Do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God.”
In the Bible, mold is a form of punishment, yet our loving Father will always help us when we are suffering and call upon Him to help us in our distress.
Therefore, Father God will mold our hearts to accept and hear His voice and our spirit once we accept His son, Jesus Christ, as the living Savior of the world. Two spiritual entities are in play: repentance, the mold, and mending our evil ways to righteousness; then, we can go before the throne of God with a new heart of love and obedience toward our Father.
