We are in commemoration of Passover. We should contemplate our connections with a power greater than ourselves. The person whom we should acknowledge is Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who will one day judge the globe. The Son of God died so that we, as temporary citizens on earth, enjoy perpetual citizenship in Heaven. Many consider Heaven is a fantasy. Most people believe Evangelical Christians made up the word Heaven, but it’s an actual place. God’s dwelling place is where His throne is, the angels are, and the Lord Jesus Christ is in Heaven. Philippians 3:20 points out that “our citizenship is in Heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” That’s why Jesus announced to the thief on the Cross, “Today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43).
The Scriptures in the book of Revelation tell us God dwells in Heaven, and HE watches and sees everything we do and every thought. So, as ambassadors of Christ, we should speak the truth every day and spread the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone, whether they want to hear it. Time is not on our side; if you have neglected the work required of every Christian to spread the Gospel of Jesus, get to work and make Him proud. Revelation 5 (read it).
