Standing in Line

Repentance seems to be the word God has imposed on my heart. The coronavirus has forced humankind to pause and think about life as we once knew it. I was standing in line at the grocery store. I looked around at individuals; they had a look of dismay on their faces. Some were doing what they always do - ignore the plight of our life—purchasing lottery tickets, alcohol, cigarettes, insignificant food items for just one day, rather than shopping for a week or two, where supplies could stretch out for several days. I had an uneasy feeling that if Jesus were to come back at this very moment. How many people would be ready? How many would go with Jesus to Paradise? Folks were cutting in the lines and not allowing other individuals to get in the grocery line. They gave each other a mean look. I just smiled as I always did and said "HI" No greeting, just a look because of the scare to catch COVID-19. It dismayed me to witness the expressions of fear on faces.

We as a democracy have so much, yet we have not learned the simple things in life to love each other. The vast amount of folks I observed had the look of, "Just give me mine." Get out of my way, "I am important, and you are not." How selfish we have become as a world.

Where is the consideration for Senior Citizens? Where is the concern for your next-door neighbor, our health care providers, emergency responders? People were buying and hoarding merchandise to sell for a profit on-line.

What is wrong with our society?

If we don't discover God soon, we will all die. This virus is no joking matter. This deadly plague is from God, and HE means business.

He has given us many chances to have a relationship with HIM. Yet we are greedy and self-reliant on ourselves and have no intention to have a spiritual life. Did we forget that HE made this world and us, and we OWN NOTHING! Everything belongs to GOD, including ourselves.

Now, for those who would respond enough of the Bible stuff. Well, let me speak to this falsehood. You either meet GOD now or suffer the wrath that is coming. God is addressing the world for one brief second to disrupt business and discover HIM. If we fail, then this torment of the plague will continue and kill millions of communities worldwide.

Open your eyes and seek Jesus Christ, the true Messiah, before time runs out.

"Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions."

‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:15‬ ‭NIV‬‬
