Was Hell Made for Man?

Excerpt from Looking Through the Sea of Glass

"A carefully devised plan for creating humanity was intentional, allowing individuals the freedom to determine their destinies. God foresaw that Lucifer would attempt to lead creation astray and was recognized by Father God, who anticipated Lucifer's pride. Adonai fashioned humanity with the desire for a relationship with His creations, having established His divine plan before humankind existed. He was aware that humanity would falter and sin.

The Word of God will always hold true. Jehovah Elohim and Yeshua HaMashiach understood the repercussions of humanity's downfall. The Word, referred to as the Son of God, Jesus, Yeshua, Messiah Yeshua, and the Prince of Peace, voluntarily stepped in to provide a path to redemption for the sins that humanity had incurred. Yeshua knew that catastrophic consequences would be unleashed upon humanity, understanding that once sin entered the world, humanity would be cast into darkness, losing the original light granted to Adam.

For salvation to occur, there needed to be a genuine acknowledgment of Adonai as the Creator and Father; otherwise, humanity risked being condemned to a perpetual state of fire and darkness. By presenting Himself as our advocate, Messiah Yeshua changed the course of humanity, guiding us away from the perils of Hell. Yet this only applied to those who sought the King of King and the Lord of Lords, the believers, not the unbelievers. Furthermore, it is crucial to remember that Hell, or Sheol, was never intended for humanity but rather for Satan and his rebellious angels who defied Jehovah Elohim."

Hell was created for Satan and his fallen angels, who once possessed divine beauty but sought to usurp the heavenly reign of God the Father. It seems that Satan fell and bumped his head. Who did he think he was to challenge the Creator of the universe? Excessive pride and an inflated sense of self-worth can warp a person's understanding of their place in the world. The destructive forces of greed, ambition, wealth, ego, false honor, arrogance, hatred, and a desire for power can lead to an individual's downfall and have catastrophic effects on society. Our world is ripe with arrogance, and many will be led astray by the sin of pride. The relentless pursuit of wealth, influence, and status will ultimately corrupt and undermine our world; when that happens, there may be no turning back. Today, we find ourselves in a dire situation, with only Yeshua able to guide us back to Him. A collective repentance for our sins is necessary, urging us to return to the divine principles outlined in the "book of the law," which many scholars associate with the Deuteronomic Code found in Deuteronomy chapters 12–26. El Shaddai bestowed these laws upon humanity as a blueprint for living, first conveyed through Moses in the book of Exodus. The Pentateuch was no coincidence; God intended the Torah, the Bible's first five books, to provide us with a moral compass and prepare us for the consequences of straying from these commandments.
