Psalm 21:1-2 “I lift up my eyes to the mountains; where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip.”
Our Heavenly Father is the one we should look up to for help. He reassures us of our fears and anxious thoughts when apprehensive. The Scriptures say, “there is no fear in love.” 1 John 4:18 because perfect love drives out fear, which is punishment. Jesus has perfect love with no fear, so our eyes need to be lifted to the mountains to Jehovah, who made Creation.
When we have doubts and get upset by uneasy news on social media and news reports during the day, turn off the chatter and pray. Give your spirit a break, shut off earthly hindrances, and give Jesus a chance to calm our mind and spirit. Read Just the Edge of God
