El Shaddai’s heart (God Almighty) is not like a human heart, nor are His ways like our ways. El Shaddai is love and forgiveness for the creation He has made. God cannot be near sin or sinful ways; He turns away from unrighteousness and toward righteousness in soul, spirit, and mind. We have to come to God as pure as children in heart before becoming defiled by their parents, who teach them detestable ways of life. The scripture states we are to be “little children (believers, dear ones), and not love mercy in theory with word or with tongue (giving lip service) but in our action and in truth (sincerity), because practical acts of love are more than words.” 1 John 3:18.

It delighted me to see Amanda Gorman, a young poet laureate, proclaim her brilliance to the world through poetry in an eloquent manner through her words on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Her movements and expressions spoke volumes and are the real heart of El Shaddai displayed as unconditional love to humanity.
