What is glass? “It is a solid produced by cooling molten material so that the internal arrangement of atoms, or molecules, remains in a random or disordered state, similar to the arrangement in a liquid.” According to the definition by the Chemistry Encyclopedia. There are four significant strengths to glass. In addition, there are many characteristics of God; we will explore three of them. Just as glass has four types of strengths to endure heat, cold, and water, God requires three conditions: act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before God. (Micah 6:8).
How does this tie together, you might ask? First, justify your actions before God to endure the heat of sin that comes your way. Second, love mercy when you know you have done wrong and repent when you hear nothing from God, and he gives you the cold shoulder to answer your prayers. And last, walk humbly in a manner of forgiveness and respect of the Father like the water that tries to penetrate the glass. Still, the solid construction of your faith holds when people humiliate or scandalize your name for no apparent reason. So check out another set of four words God gave me to explore in the book and be blessed. Looking Through the Sea of Glass now on Amazon.
