World Day of Prayer 2021

Updated: Sep 23, 2021

September 8 - 9, 2021, starts World Day of Prayer; we set aside the two days to have collective prayers for the world. September 11 marks twenty years since the assault on our Nation that has forever changed our lives and how we live in the world.

Another event happened on 4 Nisan, 3793 (Friday, April 3, AD 33; this is an approximate date. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, gave his life for the world by crucifixion. He took the punishment for our sins all at once on the cross that changed the course of history for humanity. The Scriptures foretold a time that Immanuel would arrive, but many did not believe; even after his birth and death, folks denied the Son of God. (Isaiah 9:6-7)

Where does prayer fit into this scenario? First, prayer changes everything in the universe. What we say and how we say it matters because Jehovah God hears and sees everything every mortal says or does. Second, if we pray for repentance and submit our prayers with a heart of forgiveness, then He will listen. Then healing for our cities, states, country, and the world will begin. So let’s be participants rather than impostors! Read Just the Edge of God
