Do we hear and see God?

Isaiah 6:9 “And He said "Go, and tell this people: Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.”

As humans, we forget God is righteous, and He wants a relationship with us. What does this mean? He wants to love us as no one has ever loved us. Our spiritual being is yearning for something more than we get from this life. We don’t know where to find the missing link. And we cannot get the love we need from the world; we search for love in the wrong places.

Deuteronomy 31:6, NASB states, “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.”

Father God has planted a yearning in our Spirit to seek Him that comes from His “pure” love for man. Father God is present; listen to his “quiet voice” in our Spirit. Yet, a condition needs to be assumed: you turn off noise distractions around you. We can hear God’s voice once we tune into the surrounding quietness.

Adjust your mind to the stillness while you sit in a quiet space and listen. Stillness is not just about physical silence but also about quieting your mind and focusing on God. Otherwise, your mind will wander. Once you learn how to listen, then you can receive God’s voice within your Spirit. Peace will occur if you listen to God in your everyday life. Connection with Jehovah is possible when you ‘ask’ Him to “order your steps” (Ps 119: 133-136, KJV), then you are placing your life in God’s hands. It is guaranteed God will answer you, and in His timing — but maybe not in the way you expected. But He knows what is best because He created everything in the universe, and your life will be in tune with what is righteous and His will, and we must follow His ways.
