Luke 4:18 (ESV): “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed,”
After the Roman soldiers took off Jesus' clothes, there was a division of power between El Shaddai and His Son. The garment still possessed the energy that was a part of Jesus; a believer in God would feel the healing energy of the garment if they believed, then miraculous healing happened. (Luke 4:18, NIV) Since God would not want a man to worship a piece of cloth, the remnant garment lost its power once Jesus ascended into Heaven to HIS Father.
The omnipotent and omnipresent God is always with us, but we neglect to see Him because we don’t look beyond our natural and physical image. We have deposited in our minds images from television, books, and photos from various paintings of what Jesus would have looked like in the natural. Yet, we don’t know what He looked like when He was on earth. There is no photo of Him because we look to HIM in the Spirit, not with the flesh. Open your heart, then your Bible, and seek Jesus Christ the Messiah, while HIS Holy Spirit restrains wickedness. There will be a day when Jehovah will remove HIS church and the Holy Spirit.
